  My family and I stayed here in the last week. We opted for a cabin as time wasn't on our side and it was more convenient. Most of the cabin was fine and suited us, however, the cold tap in the toilet was so stiff, that my kids couldn't turn it on. Also there was no immediate hot water in the taps. I queried this with one of the owners who informed me, that i just needed to let it run for a while, as the water had to come from a fair distance. The explanation was valid, however, I feel this should have been said to me at check-in.

  Everything I imagined! Totally love this park & the owners... it's glamcampng at its best! Plenty of space, beautiful people! My choice ( and my fur baby) to spend a quiet week every year! Owners will go out of their way to accommodate... thanks Holly & Ben

  My expectations of Wirrina Cove were fairly high, however, it did not meet them. The area, as a whole, needs a boost.

  There is also a nice walk up to the top of the hill to overlook the cove.

  Now to my biggest issue. This is something that was mentioned in a previous review. The '30 things for kids to do' is a farce. Yes there are swings and a tennis court, but these facilities are in need of a bit of love and money. Plenty of paths to pedal or scoot on and heaps of wonderful wildlife but definitely did not live up to the advertisement.

  I have been visiting Second Valley for fishing for years and have always avoided camping as the site is very crowded. Until I found this gem 5 kilometres away. Peaceful and clean with hot showers and friendly staff.

  Some of the facilities are run down like the tennis courts but I’m sure they will give them some attention soon.

  Fabulous place to stay... very friendly beautiful park in a serene bushland setting.. Enjoyed a quickie Friday night dinner at the little take away shop (arranged with owners prior to visit).. the kids loved the little animals and horses around the park.. amenities need an upgrade but they are a young couple working at maintaining and upgrading the park.. a hidden gem!
